What's to Come... A site-responsive installation that occupied the 4th Wall Project Space at 132 Brookline Ave. in Boston, Massachusetts. During my research, I chose to focus on the most recent document in the city's archives: a letter from the Boston Landmarks Commission explaining that the building housing the gallery was historically insignificant and could be demolished. My installation hones in on the impending destruction of the space by sampling and screen printing sections of painted cinder blocks and the concrete floor within, recreating them mid-disintegration. The prints, suspended with invisible microfilament were accompanied by illustrations of three other recently demolished structures immediately surrounding 4th Wall Project within the newly branded (at the time) Fenway Triangle.
