What's to Come... A site-responsive installation that occupied the 4th Wall Project Space at 132 Brookline Ave. in Boston, Massachusetts. During my research, I chose to focus on the most recent document in the city's archives: a letter from the Boston Landmarks Commission explaining that the building housing the gallery was historically insignificant and could be demolished. My installation hones in on the impending destruction of the space by photographically sampling sections of painted cinder blocks and the concrete floor within, recreating them mid-disintegration. I print these photos as four-color screen prints by hand. The prints, suspended with invisible microfilament, were accompanied in the adjoining room by framed screen printed illustrations of three other recently demolished structures immediately surrounding 4th Wall Project within the newly branded (at the time) Fenway Triangle.
